If you’re ready to begin the signatory process, there are a few different ways you can start:

1. DOWNLOAD one of the Preliminary Information Sheets below, fill it out and fax to the SAG-AFTRA office in your area.
2. Download one of the Preliminary Information Sheets below, fill it out and email it to the SAG-AFTRA Theatrical Department(signyourpicture@sagaftra.org).
3. Complete the process online via SAG-AFTRA’s Online Signatory Application (Beta version currently only allows signing of New Media, Student, Short, Ultra Low Budget, and Corporate/Educational & Non-Broadcast agreements).

Preliminary Information Sheet for the Student and Short Film Agreements

In an effort to further streamline the signatory process for Student and Short Filmmakers, just fax in the completed form and any required documents and SAG-AFTRA will send you the final paperwork. For these contracts, there is no longer any need to speak to a representative. Everything can be done through mail and facsimile. However, if you still have any questions, check here or call the Theatrical Contracts Department at SAG-AFTRA (323-549-6828).

Preliminary Information Sheet for the Ultra-Low Budget, Modified Low Budget, and Low Budget Agreements

For Ultra Low, Modified, and Low Budget Filmmakers only, a SAG-AFTRA Business Representative will contact you within 2 – 3 business days to follow-up on your request, explain the process and forward the appropriate paperwork. If you do not receive a return call please call the Theatrical Contracts Department at SAG-AFTRA (323-549-6828) to check that the fax was received.
